Despite the Tokyo 2020 Olympics being canceled, Mario and Sonic have not been banned from appearing in future events, even considering their recent doping scandal. While some may point to the fact that the Olympics are a rigged enterprise, it does not excuse the actions of Mario Bossman Mario and Olgilvie Maurice Hedgehog. It is saddening to see the Olympic Committee standby whilst two very popular players are proven to be doping.
